Acadia National Park in upper Maine is the San Juans times 100. Vermont was the most beautiful state we have ever seen. I am amazed how clean it is. We saw some great things and meet a lot of nice people. The Shaker community just into Mass. was an eye opener to Cheryle. We have lots of pictures and info to share. Cape Cod is very busy this time of year. We are getting tired of eating out. The food at the B & B's has been fabulous. Hope you are all well. Love Dad and Mom

New Hanpshire/Vermont
We are off to New Hampshire and Vermont. We saw a lot of covered bridges and took some great hikes in the woods. The country side is beautiful and the people are very friendly. Where we stayed last night was real back woods New Hampshire. Tried to run over wild turkeys. They seem to be everywhere. Went to a maple syrup farm. It was real interesting. It takes 40-45 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup. We are in Manchester Vermont tonight and will be heading to Cape Cod tomorrow. Love Dad and Mom

Another Day in New England
This is our first full day in the Camden-Rockland area. We got into our new B&B last night and set out this morning with a beautiful blue sky and we could see Penebscot Bay. We went to Camden and registered for a three hour tour aboard a schooner. While we waited to set sail we visited all the cool shops in Camden. The sailing was wonderful and very quiet. We got to talk to many interesting people. Afterwards we went to the top of Mt. Batiey and looked out over the bay. It goes from one horizon to another. We then went to another lighthouse and then to dinner. This was our traditional Maine dinner. The restaurant was right next to the docks. You can't get any fresher than that. While we were eating a huge thunder and lightening storm rolled through. It was great. We then went and did laundry and headed for our bed. Long day tomorrow as we will be going north to Acadia National Park and hiking trails. Hope you are all well. Love ya Dad and Mom

New England Trek
We have been having a fun time checking out all the fancy houses along the Maine cost. We will be adding to this as the days go by. Mom really liked Kennebunkport Maine. It is a very upper class resort town. It's fun to investigate. I didn't remember all the inlets and large rivers. There are lots of big rivers that empty into the ocean and are affected by the tides. The tidal water changes 8-10 feet with the tide and we are inland several miles at times. The slide show is just a few of the pics we have taken. We will show them all to you when we get back. The B&B we are staying in have been nice. Right now we are in Camden Maine and will be visiting Rockland tomorrow,
